Jo travels the world as an assistant to Monty Roberts, working with a huge variety of horses across all disciplines, from western to polo and showjumpers to racehorses. During Monty’s public demonstrations Jo also rides the starters, those who have never worn a saddle or been ridden before are introduced to a rider in less than 30minutes using Monty’s revolutionary Join-Up techniques. Despite this, Jo still considers herself a grassroots rider and enjoys competing her warmblood mare in low level eventing and showjumping when the schedule permits.
